The children made pancakes.  The recipe they used was one that the Ancient Greeks would have used with honey, raisins and apricots.  They worked well together and did a good job of washing and drying the dishes afterwards.

The children are always helpful.  They are getting really good at setting the table for snack time.

Enjoying our last Tag Rugby sessions.

Playing a range of instruments in Music after working hard on learning our Christmas Songs.

Some of us are learning about the Rainforest and had to sort pictures of animals into those found in the Rainforest and those found in Orkney.

We made Pudsey Bear Cookies to sell.

Practising throwing, catching and kicking skills in PE.

We looked closely at a Bonfire Night poster and discussed the ways in which people were keeping safe. Then we thought of some important safety rules to follow and wrote them down on our posters.

We have been talking about keeping safe on Bonfire Night.  We coloured some posters and put them up around the school to remind other children how to keep safe.

The children practised their drawing, colouring and cutting skills when making a paper pumpkin.
In Art this week the children cut out different colours of paper into different shapes and glued them down to make a Halloween witch.

The children have enjoyed making and eating Halloween buns this week!
